African Bank and Transunion

<p>I had a loan with African Bank in 2014, I was paying it fine up until i was retrenched therefore I abandoned my debt. I did not inform African Bank since I was hoping to get a new job soon and finalize my debt but that didn't happen it actually took longer to find the job again. in 2016 I got the job and once settled I contacted African Bank and settled all my debts with them. I noticed that African Bank listed my name on Credit Bureau for bad credit record. I requested African Bank to update the information since now I've paid my dues with them. I later notice in February that the information with Credit bureau was never updated and When I contact Transunion I'm told that I have to wait for 2 years for my name to be cleared and there's nothing that anyone can do I must just wait and be patient for 2years. I see this as unfair as I have paid all the monies that I was owing them previously now why are they letting me suffer for such bad information. May you please assist me on this regard as this is a nightmare for me</p>
