AFRICAN BANK

I took a loan on the 17/11/2016 and african bank said I can chose 2months break and I chose November and December. Than supposed to start paying my loan from the end of January 2017. Than during December I got a retrenchment letter so I couldn't pay my account from January I even send documents to african bank as my loan was having an insurance but african bank told me that the insurance won't be able to pay my loan as I didn't pay my account. So I asked them why did they said I must chose a break and also why did they include insurance on my loan where as the insurance doesn't pay my loan? I feel like african bank it's not treating customers fair as now I must pay my loan including the very same insurance that denied to pay my loan. Why do they say we must take insurance whereas they know that insurance won't be able to help us when we need it.
