Account settled but active.

I settled my African bank loan account using an extended discount and paid immediately on the call.

Now the loan is still showing as an active account and I have been following up with African bank the past 2 weeks. The payment was made on the 03rd July 2025 and I was told within 24-48hrs the paid up letter will show but nothing just a balance that was supposed to be removed through discount.

Now the issue is that they will attempt to debit my account when I get paid and I will incur charges for that after many follow up and having the issue being escalated.

They were calling me non stop when my account was in arrears and now I paid up and they are not getting back to me and I keep being escalated without feedbacks. Can this issue be resolved as soon as possible. I have been dealing with different people saying different things and one thing for sure I am not going to pay that balance.
