9 years and still no help

I had an African Bank loan in 2005, shortly after taking the loan I was retrenched - however I was assured that I had the cover I needed to have the loan paid up. Three years later I get a call to say I still owe money and agree to have a debit order go off every month for 6 months, in 2014 I called the call centre and was told it is paid up and finished - now on my credit report it says I owe R1500.00??<br> <br> I have been passed from pillar to post and am now at my wits end.<br>
