What an absolute disappointment! I app**** for a credit card through African Bank's online application process and it has been a terrible experience to say the least.

Firstly, when registering with African Bank, my ID number pulls through as someone else, secondly, they request a marriage certificate when I have never been married, thirdly, I upload AND EMAIL all the other documents at least 3 or 4 times, only to phone in again today (a whole week since starting the app process) and AGAIN get asked to submit these same documents!! Please keep in mind, I have not been contacted once by their non-existent sales team.

On top of that, when I called, I could barely hear the consultant as the music is so loud in the background and when I share my frustration with this process, the consultant does not even offer me a solution OR TRY and salvage my relationship with this TERRIBLE BANK!

I have now cancelled my application! If this is what it is like during the application process, I don't even want to know what it is like once I am actually banking with them!! Sadly, I now have an enquiry on my credit report because African Bank has already pulled my credit report which is going to affect my score. Biggest mistake EVER!

So disappointed and angry!!!
