5 days waiting for loan approval

After attempting to apply for a loan on Wednesday (according to website the bank opened on public holidays), to arrive at both Malvern brand and Davernport and have them both closed. We then went Thursday after work to Davernport as they phoned and said they would extend their hours. Loan application was done and everything submitted through, today is Tuesday and I only know it was rejected due to me calling in. Firstly I was told if pushed for an answer they will probably reject, which makes no sense obviously if you need a loan it is urgent, but waiting 5 days is apparently ok?! According to records there was a request for yesterday at 11:19, now according to the branch this is possibly why it was rejected, however I am stuck on construction site in Richardsbay and cannot use my phone during these hours. <br> <br> The reason for the application is 'criteria not met' what criteria? what more did you need? Surely this should have been answered instead of a straight rejection?
