4 months waiting for bank to assist so i can transact, but they cant cause they cant pick up fingerprints.

Since June been trying to get a loan but could not be assisted because am told that they cant pick up my finger prints, even head office cannot. requested balance balance to settle, i cannot get that cause they cannot pick up finger prints on the system, cannot log complaint on their system cause apparently it needs fingerprints.

Spoke to Sbusiso Dlamini - Area Manager in Nkomazi region, he always promises to get back to us, 4 months later still not helped.

I have left my number so that you can call me to resolve this issue, because whenever i call, I'm sent from pillar to post.

Past 4 months spending money going to the branch but no assistance.

your employee even advised that i go to the ombudsman

You send an automated reply, which does not help, just like haven't been helped for months.,

If biometric authentication fails repeatedly over a period of time, you'll be required to visit the Department of Home Affairs to verify your fingerprints. Your fingerprints will be taken by a Home Affairs official and imprinted on Form DHA-9

we were advised to do that, Home affairs could not help either, gave African Bank feedback, was sent back to home affairs to request a letter stating that they also cannot pick up the finger prints. Home affairs said they do not write letters stating such.

Bare in mind that this is an 80 year old that you are giving a run around.

How do you verify customers with both hands amputated???

Im sure there are other ways to verify, manual verification.

4 months dealing with the same matter. you don't even give feedback to customers as you should to aggrieved customers.

The fingerprints have been an ongoing problem, but banks like FNB and Capitec always assist me through the manual verification.
why can you not assist?
