4 days to clear a local EFT!

I have always had excellent service from the Long Branch in Noordhoek, Cape Town. However, a standard bank deposit of R 2000 took 4 days to clear. No public holidays or anything in between. A further deposit from FNB has so far taken 3 days and is still not cleared. The amount is R 1500. No huge deposits, or "funny" banks involved. This is absolutely unacceptable.
