Our service stops when we get paid

I'd like to warn anyone considering hiring this company for their waterproofing to save them the ordeal I have been through. In March 2014 I paid Water control Africa R14, 000 to waterproof the roof of my house. I had specific areas of concern. I was told their work came with a 10 year guarantee. In the following year I have had to call them back 2ce to honour that guarantee... the first time they came after around a month of begging and pleading to be heard and taken seriously. This time, after having to beg them to come back and have a look I am told the area that needs attention is 'new work' that wasn't water proofed first time round. I pointed out that the area of concern - my bedroom - was the initial reason I called his company and he said he will send someone to come have a look - it's a week later and my carpets smell musty from all the water on them - I have water running down my walls... I've stopped begging him for after sales service as clearly he doesn't believe in the concept. I've hired a new company to sort my roof out - very disappointing when service stops at payment.
