Radiator Issues
Last year May 2022 I took my car to American Beast to service my Jeep Wrangler. They informed me that my radiator had a crack and needed to be replaced. They ( American Beast ) offered me a performance radiator from the company ‘Africa Longhorn’ which was more expensive but would “last me a lifetime”, which was not the case. 11 October 2022 I had to bring back my Jeep to American Beast, which by was bought over and changed to Merc Drive. They had a look and told me that the new radiator had a leak and needed to be replaced, which they did free of charge. Everything went smoothly until mid-February / April 2023. I brought it back and they told me that the radiator had a similar leak again and needed to be replaced, which they did, again, free of charge. I had no problems until October 2023, but this time when I brought it back in, Merc Drive informed me that there are no more warranties on those radiators and that I would need to buy a new one? They ( Africa Longhorn ) did not want to send the radiator back to the factory for inspection to perhaps prove that it was not the radiator, or find any sort of proof and refuse to give a refund which I find unacceptable since it cost both myself and Merc Drive a lot of time, trouble and effort, not to mention all the money Merc Drive have lost on time and labor.
