No generator at a guesthouse

It’s the second time that the company I work for has booked me in this guesthouse. Both times there was no electricity. Okay so we all understand load shedding and all but shouldn’t business that take themselves seriously invest in a generator so that it doesn’t inconvenience it’s clients? I took it up with the guy at reception and all he could say is we’re sorry for the inconvenience ma’am. I was given a candle and matches to use for 2 hours while we waited for the electricity to come back.

I had a long day, doing fieldwork and all I wanted was to shower and sleep. Very disappointing
