My sister in-law was supposed to get married in June. She went to buy Traditional Dress at African Fashion House in Maponya Mall. She paid deposit of R1,750 on the 9 March 2020. And dress cost R3,500. She was supposed to go for fitting on the 29 March 2020 of which she couldn't because of Lockdown. July on Level 3, she went to Maponya Mall and only to find out that the shop is permanently closed and no messages as to where they moved to. She traced them through Facebook and only to find them in another branch in Midrand. She called the number provided on the Facebook page, same number *** on the receipt she got from sales person by the name of Debby. When she called Debby and ask her why they didn't tell her that they moved or they closed the shop? Their response was they did send everybody messages and which she never received it. Now my sister wants her deposit back and they say she will never get it even if she can go or report them to higher places. Please HelloPeter assist my sister to get her money back because this people they're *************. Debby promised to call my sister in-law in 28 August and she never did.
