Afribiz Nightmare

Afribiz was recommended by friend. I paid the money as requested; My request was to get new hosting provider for the next year. The website and ONE email address which belongs to a ministry / NPO. After payment and without notification by Afribiz they transferred my existing website & email much earlier than expected and also left me without a website, it was only supposed to be done 1 month down the line. When the site was up Andre had changed an image on the website without consent, this image was of a lady doing yoga which is completely against our beliefs(a sin). We were having intermittent problems with sending and receiving emails, we then inquired with Andre as to why it is not working we got told we are "hackers" because we are trying to login with incorrect login details and that Afribiz is going to suspend our account with them. My understanding is that if emails are sending and we are receiving emails intermittently the login details must be correct but the issues lies with the provider. We were told that we ignore them, although we both have sent several emails already explaining that we are both working during the day. We got told by the owner Andre that we are "ignoring" him. Andre also threatened me after labeling us as "hackers" and explained that he will suspend our website & my one email address . He initially offered to pay for an IT company to assist with the set up of the email, when we decided to take him up on this offer the assistance all of a sudden would cost R80. The assistance ended up costing R450 and Andre also changed his mind and decided not to pay for the assistance anymore. The IT technician could also resolve the issues as Andre had blocked the server, we had to pay R450 for nothing. As my emails for the ministry was working on & off during this process. We received "security alert emails" stating a certain IP address was providing incorrect login/password details, we informed Andre that this was not our IP address and sent proof of this. Again he got extremely upset and he suspended the website. I apologized for not fully understanding hosting and servers. Then i was told that i had to adhere to his rules and regulations. When asked where the rules was first, so that i could read through it, it was given to me quickly and i had limited time to read and respond. when i typed in email my concerns about his hosting rules and it specifying that i could pay even more money and mentioning court cases Andre decided to delete my website and therefore no more emails. He also informed me that he will not be giving me a refund (I paid almost R700) and that i should also replace my phone as he cannot read my emails because my phone is out of date? He then sends a link to wikipedia on "Crimen injuria" as some sort of threat? I am 51 years of age. I am not a computer expert, but what i do know as a minister of the gospel is how to be kind and helpful. Andre threatened me, got aggressive with me, stole the money and cut off my website for the ministry and my emails. Be careful of this ruthless service supplier. You will be left with no website and no email facility if you use this hosting provider. I have had the webiste for 12 years and have never had any issues with the other providers, my previous providers were extremely helpful but we found that they were over charging us hence the fact we changed over.
