AFM Home for the Aged problems

I refer to the article I placed on May 23,2025 in hellopeter.co regarding this problem and that to date nothing has been investigated as things are just as bad as before. Is there anyone who may read this can suggest,advise or recommend what we the elderly of this AFM home for the Aged,40 Samuel Street, Sarepta, Kuils River can do about the dire conditions we are living in and have done for the past few years. 1 The leaking roofs all over the building which were never seen to by the previous manager,Maxie Herbst although she was fully aware of what was happening. Now that her daughter,who has a "diploma"but no management skills has been appointed by a Trevor Herbert I believe and at what salary will things go from bad to worse? The "food" which we get every day and which never changes and is the same week in and week out. The kitchen was run by a husband and wife until the wife was given the position at the other old age home which is far better off than us. The husband and his daughter now runs this kitchen and at what salary and things are no better. The mother is in charge with her other daughter at the well off home. One cannot discuss any food related problems with any of them as we are always informed that there is no money and must be satisfied with what we get. All of the problems facing this old age home was brought to the attention of The Executive Welfare Council of the AFM welfare on May 23,2025 but to date nothing has changed and when one hears that a donation made to this home by Standard Bank of R.4 millon one wonders what is happening. When we hear that the previous manager Maxie Herbst still has a lot of influence and that a Mr T.Herbert had a lot to do with the appointment of her daughter as manager one wonders if anything will change and if the elderly of this home will ever have better to look forward to. If only the families of the residents who live here knew what was happening they too could do something about the living conditions here Lastly,is it lawful for families to run an old age and to provide cleaning services and control the catering services,collect donations and use it to suit themselves and not the residents?
