Poorly draining unprofessional service
Complaint Regarding Poor Service at Afiswitch Fingerprint Centurion
To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration with the unprofessional service I experienced at the Afiswitch Fingerprint Centurion office.
On Monday, 2nd December 2024, I visited your department to collect my fingerprint results required for my public permit (PDP). Upon arrival, I was informed that I needed to retake my fingerprints, which I comp**** with and paid the necessary fee. I was explicitly told to return on Thursday to collect the results.
On Friday, I drove all the way from Pretoria to Centurion, only to face a completely unacceptable situation. The staff displayed a lack of professionalism and courtesy. The lady assisting me not only gave me a dismissive attitude but also ignored my concerns while chatting with her ***orkers about a Christmas party. It was disrespectful and frustrating to witness such behavior while customers, like myself, were left waiting for assistance.
To make matters worse, I was informed, after making the trip, that my results would not be ready until Tuesday. This lack of communication and disregard for customers’ time and expenses is unacceptable. Furthermore, none of the staff wore name tags, making it impossible to identify those responsible for this poor service.
It has now been three months since I started this process, and I am unable to renew my PDP due to the delays caused by your department. This has negatively impacted my ability to work and maintain my livelihood.
If this is how Afiswitch handles its customers, then perhaps alternative arrangements should be made to allow us to complete our fingerprinting at more efficient and professional departments. I urge you to address these issues immediately, including staff behavior, communication protocols, and processing times, to ensure no other customer has to endure such a frustrating experience.
I look forward to a prompt response and resolution to this matter.
Sincerely, Petro Mashamaite
