PRICE ON THE PRODUCT HIGHER AT THE TILL POINT

On Tuesday, 01 March 2016, me and my friend went into the store looking for a rachet. The floor lady helped us as the tools are locked inside a glass top counter to avoid theft. After looking at different prices, we decided to take a socket and rachet set retailing at around R315(can't remember the true price). The lady gave us the huge yellow price tag to take with to the till point. Upon paying, the cost was about R30 more. The lady at the till informed us that's the best price she can give! She even told us to call the lady who assisted us on the floor whom she saw. I protested that she can call her herself as a colleague, to which at that point I requested to see the Manager. <br> <br> To our shock, the Manager didn't want to hear our case and just said he will take his product back and refund us! I was shocked as he informed us we must know the prices are up! Who's fault was that? How difficult was it for him to humanly explain himself to us. Was it the colour of our skin inside the Kooperasie? I'm still shocked, and I don't see him settling for that shabby treatment in any store. Please help me root out this monsters amongst our people.
