Company took deposit and disappeared

I paid 50% deposit for plumbing and renovation work. Pieter Swart came to site, did about 10% of the work, and then disappeared. He refuses to come back to complete the work. He stole the existing plumbing and sanitary fittings/systems and taps, toilet, etc. from my property while he was here.
