Poor Workmanship

Having used this company to erect two carports and two awnings and had paid them in full the amount of R29 000, on completion, which included a 3 year workmanship guarantee as well as ten years on material, I was appalled to find that the carport on the side of the garage had one of the sheets too short and was covered by a piece of similar material which is shoddy workmanship as well as the drain off angle had to be altered by lifting the support columns, so as not to have rainwater collect in one area and not drain out of the gutters. On the rear awning of the house again a drain pipe was fitted in the incorrect place and had to be corrected so that the run off would drain into an existing drain hole as previously the down pipe was interfering with the rotary wash line. Over and above all of this the toilet vent pipe was roughly cut and not finished with piping to allow ventilation for the sewer thus allowing odours to collect underneath the awning, which was unfair on my family and neighbours in close proximity. Regardless of the numerous phone calls, requests and promises that were in vain, these repairs as yet has not been done. Small claims court demand pending.
