WORST INSURER!!! DOESN'T CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER JUST ABOUT LINING THEIR OWN POCKETS!!!! DISGUSTING

Car Accident happened on the 25 June 2019 in Pretoria next to the PPC cement factory. The accident was reported and I was asked to provide the documents shown below a) Copy of the drivers license b) Copy of the ID c) Accident report d) Statement saying what the driver did 12 hours before and after the accident where we were going and coming from. The insurance company acknowledged receiving the documents on the 4 July 2019. Letter 2 On the 8 July 2019 I received a phone call from a lady by the name of Liezel. She said she represented the insurance company and I should provide her with the information she would attach on her email. Letter 3. She said we should drive to the place where the accident took place and I said itʼs fine with me but my wife is in hospital and consequently she will not be with us. She said she would want her to be there and I am just a first witness and my presence is not so important. I called her two days thereafter when my wife was released from the hospital so that she could take her to the scene of the accident. She said to me she was very busy and could not make it. On the 19 July 2019 she required some extra new documents as per the attached letter, Letter 4. I wrote a letter to Mr. Maré about this and his reply was not helping and I decided to lodge a complaint with the company. I got a letter of acknowledgement from Debbie Black where she was stating that I adhere to the request made by Liezel., as per Letter 5. I got a a letter from a lady called Chantelle who said she wanted to help and promised to get back to me but that did not occur until I wrote a letter to her. Letter 6 I called the company on the 25 September 2019 at 14X30 and I found myself talking to a guy by the name of Morris and he said to me he was standing in for Mr. Maré who was on leave at the time. He said my claim was rejected on the 19 August 2019 on the grounds of non compliance. I then asked him to forward me the email he purported it was sent to me, but till this day I have not received the email. The company lacks consistency with the required documents or information. It looks like the goal posts are always shifted hence I require an intervention in this matter because my car is still not fixed yet.

We haven't received any assistance so far and it is absolutely disgusting considering I've been a loyal customer who pays all my premiums. I had an accident happen where someone elses fault resulted in me getting bashed in the back. I expect my insurer to stand by me and assist but instead they haven't done anything. I've been left without a car for over 4 months while infinity health shifts blame and hides behind procedure. It cant take this long to assess my vehicle and get it fixed, They don';t even think about what expenses I suffer while I have no vehicle to travel. I'm truly disappointed and disgusted with Affinity Insurance
