No luck with being refunded
I took insurance with Affinity for a Polo Vivo on the 8th December 2017, and unfortunately on the 11th December 2017 I got a call from my dealer that I cannot take delivery of the car due to previous accident damage to the car as it failed inspection at Dekra. I then asked my Broker, Xinix Insurance to please cancel my insurance with Affinity because I didn't take delivery of the car. Which they agreed to and was advised to rather push my initiation date to 31st January 2018 as the assumption was by then I would have another car. On the 12th December 2017 my account was debited by Affinity, and I was told not to worry as the inception date is pushed to 31st Jan. 2018 and that if I still do not have a car come that date, a full refund would be made. Now that I do not have a car that I need to cover with Affinity, and asked for my refund and cancellation of policy, I'm having a tough time. My Broker, Xinix Insurance, is also trying to help get whatever they require but still no luck. Please help resolve my issue with Affinity so that I can get my refund. Thanks.
