Vehicle insurance from hell

<p>I had an accident with my car and claimed from my insurer. They rejected the claim saying that it was within excess and therefore that i'm responsible for the repairs on my vehicle. I raised money to fix the car and asked them which panelbeater they use and got the quote from, they sent it to me. I sent my mom to the panel beater which is Dals Auto Panel in Claremont since i'm out of town because of work. They couldnt help her saying that i should get a quote from the insurer because the amount of the claim would be different if i had to pay out of my own pocket. I then contacted the insurer they told me that they couldnt give me the quote, now i'm stuck with a car that cant be fixed due to the insurance that is not cooperating with me. The lady handling this claim is Rosemary Smit, she is never available on the phone when i call them. When i communicate via email, she answers after a while. I now understand why people say that insurers are *******.</p>
