Terrible service with pathetic staff

Affinity insurance is the biggest ****. Terrible service ever. No communication, no feedback they are rude. They don't deliver what they promise when you take the insurance cover. I was involved in an accident on the 4th January 2025. I reported the matter to them. Thereafter they did not do a follow up, I had to call and find out what is the next step. On the 21st January they advised that the card isa write off and I must get the settlement letter, natis certificate etc. from the bank. Thereafter they kept quite when I call, they will call back, they are still waiting for management. They don't even respond to emails. I called them on 6th March to find out what may be the delay, and a lady called Zela told me that she is still waiting for feedback from management, and she cannot be sending the same message to her manager, I asked for her manager and complaints details then he hung up on me. On the 10th I received an email from her manager Henrich stating that the car is a write off and my query is with management, and I will get feedback by 17h00. To my surprise I got feedback stating that the insurance rejected my claim. I must fetch mt car at Gobid before I accumulate storage charges. IIn no time I get an offer to purchase which was 4 times lessor than the purchase amount.

After the claim was rejected, I enquired with them regarding the third-party vehicle, and they advised that they are not allowed to share any information with the third party. I furthermore requested for a detailed report pertaining to the decline reason for the claim and a detailed report of the assessor report as well. However I was advised that such information cannot be handed to a third party, I then requested for the call recording when the insurance was taken up, I was asked a lot of ridiculous questions, and the recording was sent to me a day later. Upon listening to the recording, all listed incidents were stated to be covered thus including accidents and third-party claims. They stated that the fixing price is over 25% so they will write off the vehicle. To my surprise after I was told to fetch my car at Gobid within 7 days. I then received an offer to purchase for the amount of R80400.00 which is way lessor than car value.

I am not happy with the company and will not recommend it to anyone.
