Poor service from affinity car insurance

A consultant told me to go to auto boys or PG glass within 24 hours for car inspection, which I did on Sat, 22th May. I followed up the next Monday, 24th via email, nobody came back to me. I made a call and waited 20 minutes on the 26th to check if my documents were received, I was told all is in order. Today 27th May, I receive a call that the document I submitted is not acceptable, I must go to PG glass. It means I've been driving an uninsured car from the 22nd of May.
