Hospitalisation refused for Non Pre existing condition

I joined affinity just over 3 months ago after Been on one plan for a year as I THOUGHT their option was better. I disclosed pre existing asthma which I got a year waiting- accepted. I added that in 1994 I had a sigmoid colectomy but have had no problems for the past 25 years. 6 weeks ago I got constipated, went to doc, affinity paid my consultations. It escalated to a severe bowel blockage and urgent hospitalisation was required. I had to wait till 1 sept for hospital benefits. I have just been shocked to the core that after authorisations requester ICD10 codes for the year June 2018 to June 2019 of which NONE were digestive related problems.

I am absolutely disgusted how they have treated me and cannot prove I have had ANY treatment during the year June 2***

This company needs to be exposed to any other vulnerable person out there who is at risk of dying with an illness suddenly set upon you

I have just been told they declined my authorisation and now have added it as a pre existing condition/ which it is NOT.

I am at home, doctor and specialist waiting for me to be hospitalised as it’s extremely a serious condition.
