Extremely Poor service

I have also lodged a claim with Affinity Insurance in 2019-10-04 after a small accident with my car. I don't understand how my vehicle got written off, there is no communication or feedback from them whenever you arein a process of making a claim. I constantly had to give them a run around to get answers. There were minor damages on my vehicle, the Bumper, Radiator and a small slit below the driver door. I dont believe that these damages could've amounted to 70% of my vehicles retail price at the time of the accident. Affinity insurance is ripping clients off. I do not recommend anyone to associate themselves with this insurance company. I'm just curious, why does a major car dealership like *Barons Durban* associate themselves with this insurance. I had previously chosen a different insurance company but got persuaded by someone (choosing insurance for clients) at Barons. I did send my Complain with Ombudsman for insurance. If you are part of this insurance, please cancel it and make sure that you lay your complain with the Ombudsman as soon as they start giving you a run around. It took them the whole month to process my claim, I had to use my tracker to locate the vehicle after it was moved from a storage in Durban where it was supposed to be fixed. There was no option of buying the car back, I had to drive to SMD_Only to find out that the car had been sold long before I was informed about the whereabouts of the vehicle . Please don't fall victim to this.

The car was later sold in an auction,I got hold of the buyer, he wanted to sell it back to me for R130k with the damages. The car had 35k on the clock. Got involved in an accident after 2 months.
