Don't Trust Affinity Health Insurance promises

My husband required surgery, they only authorized 25k of the total procedure which cost 105k. We took a loan for the balance as the surgery was urgent.

They asked to shop around for a less expensive hospital, and get quotes, which we did and then they offered less for the day hospital which we eventually found.

No compassion showed, so we have cancelled the policy end of May 2024. we have never missed a premium. Everything has a co-pmt. Bloods are excluded at most hospitals. i took the best of both for my husband, and it is a total disappointment. We are now struggling to meet our basic financial obligations no thanks to Affinity.
