Disgusted with Affinity insurance with their pathetic service..claim number AA557627/3

I am so disappointed with the handling of my brothers claim with Affinity insurance, the worst thing is they took more than 2 months with very little communication with him for them to tell him the claim is being rejected because someone else was driving, so what I want to understand is my brother had an emergency that needed his child to be collected so she can attend her appointment with her doctor, he could not go himself due to the fact that he was in a meeting and this was an emergency so he asked for the 1st time our cousin to fetch his child then unfortunately around 3 on a Friday afternoon he met up with an accident,Affinity insurance is saying he was suppose to disclose that someone else could drive his car so he can be noted as a driver as well my question is how was he suppose to think of calling them in that situation and it was his first time giving him the car to use,secondly why was he not told this at sales stage how was he suppose to know this, what irritates me is that I advised him to join Affinity insurance because they are underwritten by Mutual and Federal, I work for another insurance had I had known this is how they handle their claims I would of rather brought him to the insurance I work for, they even failed to offer him car hire after registering the claim yet each and every month he pays for car hire how pathetic is that so for 2 months he did not have a car to use, the reason I'm interfering now is because they are failing to come back to him all they did was to email him the rejection letter did not even bother to call him and tell him telephonically, it is very disturbing to see such things being done to someone that has been paying his premium regardless of his financial difficulties caused by covid 19 I will not stop exposing them until they call my brother and deal with this issue, this is pure Robery and it shows the kind of insurance Affinity is they are taking advantage of their customers and I will not except it.
