Claim reject unfair by affinity

In 2016 my husband gave me his car ford focus,he then called his previous insurance which was king price to change the details because i was going to be the main driver and were staying apart, he was just only paying the insurance but i was the main driver so i had the access to call the insurance hence i was the main driver. One day it happened i had an incident that left my bumber broken.i called the insurance to make a claim but I decided to not go ahead with the claim because it was just a bumber. I myself forgot about the incident because i fixed the car myself. My husband bured a car this year and joined affinity which was the biggest mistake ever, he was involved in an accident his car was a writeoff the insurance took their time to approve the claim finally they responded that my husband was not honest when they asked him if he ever claim and he said no.They we were shocked because he never claimed he called king price they confirmed a claim on the policy but they gave the information that the person who claimed was the wife. My husband called the insurance to explain they said they will review his claim they came back again saying they cant pay he claimed. So my husband asked them the record of the day he took the policy but were still waiting. Affinity pay the claim your reason is weak you cant hide.Think twice before joining affinity
