Call centre Harassment

I showed interest in the company and what they offered but had in the meantime gone with another company as 1 of the 3 that contacted me first offered exactly what I wanted.

I got a call from Affinity yesterday and unfortunately did not take the details of the woman that called, as I was on my way into a meeting and told her that I would not be interested as I already took out Life cover and would not need another one. She insisted on telling me about what they offer and again I advised that I would not be interested.

I have now had 6 more calls from the numbers. The last few I tried answering, but the cut off just as I answer... She just will not stop!

Is it now practice to harass people into taking your product to get you off their backs?
