Affinity Health *****'s

Me and my wife was looking for a little bit cheaper medical aid during december we received a call from affinity health they told us they cover the same as other medical aids it sound good we ask them what was the diffrence between them and the rest of the medical aids. There responds was that they work acording to age and not sallary that is why they are cheaper but in every aspect they will cover us the same as the rest of the medical aids. It sound good was littlebit cheaper so we canceled our medical aid and used affinity health that was during December begining January. In April we found out that my wife is pregnant we let affinity know about it they told us they do not cover any of the pregnancy due to the fact they have a 12 month waiting period for it, if we stayed on our old medical aid we would have been covered. But that is not all so far since this year we have paid everything cash because affinity health did not cover the expenses. Two weeks ago my wife torn her legiments in her leg. we went to the Dr and he directed us to a specialist for my wifes legs. so we told affinity health gues wat the answer was your policy have been maxed out. I am not a genuis but according to me 10000-(0+0+0+0) still means 10000 like i said we have paid every specialist we saw cash. They did not pay for any of them but we are maxed out. Stay away people you will be sorry they lie to you and we have moved now to a medihelp but now we have penalties on us due to the fact that affinity health is not seen as a medical aid but rather medical insurance so people stay away. You will always have problems. I dont know how els to warn you they will sound very good but you will regret it for paying them all the money and they will not deliver.
