What does an accident mean in Affinities book???
<br> What is the definition of an accident? An unfortunate incident that happens unexpectedly and unintentionally, typically resulting in damage or injury. I was very impressed with the sale person who sold Affinity Health to me. He made out as if this is the best thing under the sun and that I cannot go wrong. This is the insurance to have. I signed up on the 9th of March 2016. I only get salary on the 25th of each month. On the 18th of March I had a work function. We ran out of glasses and I decided to wash a few. ACCIDENTALLY the glass broke and I cut my little finger badly. I phone Affinity. My answer back was - your first instalment is not paid. Sorry we cannot help you. I was devastate with blood everywhere. Went to the doctor, got stitches paid out of my own pocket money I do not really have. On the 29th I phoned affinity again. My first payment was paid. Explaining my whole story and that there was complication with the finger I lost all feeling in it and need to see a specialist. According to Affinity this is no longer seen as an accident. I need to wait three months before my insurance kicks in to see a specialist. This is unacceptable. Affinity - Health Insurance?
