Waste of Money and Time

I started with Affinity on the 01 May 2017 At the end of June I fell Pregnant , I call them to try and find out whether there was any way they would cover the birth or even a portion off it. I was given a big NO NO NO. My first using affinity was a visit to the GP which was 3 weeks ago and he told me that he really does not take patients on this medical aid..... he is on the network but they take really long to pay him. He needed to refer me to a gyne due to some complications and advised me that I would need to pay cash as they would not acceptAffinity I still however called affinity and got a pre authorization number and was told that I could use the amount of R1300.00 on that visit, and that the doctor was in their network. when I got there the next day the receptionist told me sorry we don't accept Affinity. you have to pay cash. Why do I have a medical Aid/ Insurance if it covers nothing? Its a waste of money and time and phone calls to sort things out. Disgusting...................
