Very Very Bad
<p>So disappointed.</p> <p>Waste of hard earned money. Definately not what they market. Rules change.</p> <p>Cancelling with immediate effect.</p>

Good afternoon,
I am still not satisfied with the outcome as it seems very contradicting.
When one is ill one goes to a Dr to find out the cause- By the Dr using a stetescope he is investigating the chest. By him looking into your ear and throat, checking your glucose and blood pressure-That is considered investigative. Yet Affinity does not pay for the investigative procedure required. The same principle applies. There is no use in having a medical assistance fund if investigation of illness cannot be covered. How will you get to the root cause? This does not make any sense. I stand by my decision to terminate.

Please note that investigative procedures in the GP rooms are controlled and form part of the consultation fee, however, diagnostic procedures in hospital can result in very high costs. Due to the fact that Affinity Health is a health insurance and not a medical aid we work based on stated benefits and specific amounts as outlined in your policy wording. As per the policy wording all diagnostic procedures are a permanent exclusion.
Please remember that the hospital policy wording differs from the day to day policy wording. The Complaints Officer will make contact with you shortly in order to discuss this matter in further detail.
