MEDICAL EMERGENCY FOR MY LITTLE SISTER SAVANNAH
If anything happens to my sister tonight so help me God I will be at their office tomorrow morning!!! My sister was admitted by an authorised doctor today with viral melengitis. .. Then to get told she needs a cat scan and lump puncher (could be mistaken with spelling) just to get told that they won't admit her that VIRAL MELENGITIS IS PRE EXISTING???? <br> She has a full cover!!! Including hospital as per their website <br> <br> what nonsense!!!! My little sister has never had such a disease all her life!!!!!<br> <br> I called the helpline *** to be hung up on an and Bobby and mbuduzi promised to call back.... What a joke... <br> <br> no call back it's been 38minutes and I told them it's a medical emergency!!!! <br> <br> <br> Thank goodness I am with discovery health!

Please be assured that we are in the process of investigating exactly what transpired yesterday evening whilst you were attempting to obtain pre-authorisation for hospital admission. We would further like to assure you that any of our agents found not to be dealing with our members appropriately, will be taken to task.
As I'm sure you will have seen in your policy documentation, our Daily Illness Benefit for hospitalisation does have stated amounts per 24 hours spent in hospital. Our Escalations Manager will be in contact with you to clarify this, provide detailed feedback and discuss this matter further.
