27 Feb 2023, 11:36so last week friday i received excellent service from Kevin on cancelling my membership.
the background story is that for the good part of last week i have been trying to contact affinity health so that i can cancel my membership. however it took a couple of days for Affinity to get back to me. the cancellation was done but my account was still debited today (27/02/2023). I called to try to get it reversed and i was told that its they cannot reverse it. it makes absolutely no sense to me and its daylight ********ity. They keep on repeating that the good thing is that i'll be covered until end of March. I told them that i dont want that, i just want the money they debited back because the financial strain i am currently under is just too much. how can you take someone's money and then after that say its impossible to return it? Please keep your services and benefits and return back the money.
One other thing i do not understand is that the debit order is a Debicheck meaning i am basically powerless in terms of reversing it from my side. why make it a Debi check because its not like i owe you guys. i should have the power to reverse beacause its my money. similarly if i miss a payment the services and benefits are immediately suspended for that month however when i no longer need your services and benefits i am told that you cannot return what isn't yours. Why is it that you have the power to suspend/cancel your benefits but i do not have the power to take back what is mine? this is daylight ********ity
