Double debit

Affinity Health ran a double debit on my account the 28th of November as for I had no funds in the beginning of November to which I received an sms stating that I will not be covered for the month until the premium was payed. As per the operator that I spoke to regarding this stated that someone had to phone me in order to make arrangements or to find out what the situation was and he would then speak to his supervisor regarding the double debit that was done. Now this morning another operator tells me a different story. According to her I was to phone in and make arrangements. So now my question is while not being covered for the month why does it cost me my full premium for a total of 3 days. This is totally *********

Hello willieb3880,

Thank you for your post and for your time in discussing this matter with Burnette, our escalations manager. As discussed, in order to continue enjoying the benefits offered by Affinity Health, member premiums must be up to date. To avoid the unnecessary lapsing of policies and resulting new waiting periods for our members, in the event of an uncollected premium, our policy protection rules allow the double debiting of a member's account. As all our members accept and agree to this policy on joining Affinity Health, our system automatically processed your premium collection accordingly. We trust that this clarifies the above matter. Kind Regards, Affinity Health.

Best regards,
