Disappointed

I'm a member of Affinity Combined Plan AND the Dental Premium Plan, now for a few years. On the plan description they pay for 2 dental caps, or one set dentures every 24 months. Last year I app**** for the 2 crowns/caps but my contribution would have been R15 000. So, yes, you can have it, just pay out of your pocket for it lol!!! The above didn't happen and this year the tooth broke. I'll have to go for the dentures option as the tooth is now irreparable. Guess what, you can either have top OR bottom sets and not both to chew properly. AND my access money is more than R2000.00 for only a top set. My front tooth broke.

I suggest Affinity do not say 'COVER' if they mean CONTRIBUTE. Also give amounts how much they contribute. Make a list of codes available to clients, because the codes they cover is not codes necessary to make dentures or crowns. What they say is: yes you can have it but we cover codes not applicable to make the product. Take note: It is at a prescribed dentist. Which means they should cover it. Makes me seriously scared for unforeseen situations like hospitals etc. THEY'RE NOT GOING TO PAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
