Define what is life threatening

I joined Affinity health insurance thinking that the services they speak about would be the services rendered, my husband had a pain on the left hand side and a lump that he could not even lift his arm went to a casualty to try and seek medical assistance and got turned away reason being according to the insurance policy it's not life threatening, that was so unfortunate that Noone even thought could be a heart attack or something else but to be turned away cause it's not life threatening in my opinion people should be bleeding and on a gerni then it's life threatening??? Cancel the contract still debit the account even though it's no longer going to be in use, I'm upset the fact that Noone even contacted me to find out the issue and the frustration of being turned down and still u got to call for Authorisation which you wait on the line for a while "EVEN IF IT'S LIFE THREATENING" IM VERY UNHAPPY WITH THE SERVICES AT AFFINITY
