Debit order Mayhem
Whenever you email anyone at Affinity with questions regarding products, services etc, they are quite quick to reply. BUT, when you email them account queries or procedure queries, there are always stories.

I had a planned policy with them that was to commence on 1 September 2015. I had in the meantime received medical from my employer so I didn't need to take the policy with Affinity. I mailed Segran (who is the consultant that helped me book the policy etc), and asked him to please ensure that the debit order is cancelled and doesn't go through, as I have been offered medical by my employer.

Guess what? NO RESPONSE! So this morning I check my bank statement, and lo and behold, the debit order and joining fees have gone off! And don't think phoning them is going to get this sorted out. Either the lines are faulty, or you have to phone 20 different numbers to get hold of someone that could help you.

I don't think I would recommend their services to anybody. Do yourselves a favour, rather pay more and get proper medical with Discovery or Selfmed or something. At least with them, you can always get through to resolve queries. I am very disappointed.
