Beware of Affinity they seem to find all the loopholes not to pay out

I spoke online to one of the Affinity agents (still waiting for the transcript to be emailed to me) and was advise to use the Spec Savers in Standerton that is 74km one way from my town so that adds up to 148km twice, once to go for the appointment and again to go and collect the glasses so that s a total of 296km. I think that is unreasonable for Affinity to expect me to travel 296km for glasses just because Affinity gets a kick-back from Spec Savers when there is a Optometrist in my home town 2km away that we have been with for many years and she knows my history, and there is a option for out of network. The agent also advised that Affinity would have paid out the claim if the closest Spec Savers was 100km away but could not show me in any of my policy documents where it says anything about 100km so that is a made up distance to suit Affinity. I have been warned by many people about Affinity not paying out and always finding loopholes not to pay it seems that it is true.
