Bad services and money *****ing from clients

I took a policy with this company and was assisted by Ridwaan Motalib in doing so. The first premium was debited on the 7th of April 2017. I only received the policy schedule last week.

On the 18th of April, I sent Ridwaan Motalib and email requesting him to call me back but he did not reply to my email nor did he call. I then sent him another email on the 3rd of May asking him to call me, which he did.

On that call I asked him to send me a recording of the purchase call but he told me he couldn't assist me with that. He said I would have to come to Affinity Health offices and listen to the call there or he would have to play it for me over the phone. When I asked why he couldn't send it to me because as a consumer I have a right to get the call upon request, he had no clue as to why I couldn't get the purchase call recording. He promised to get me someone from the relevant department to call me back but I'm still waiting for that person to call. Instead I received an email from Nkuthalo telling me that the phone call recordings are property of Affinity Health.

Later on that day I decided to call the offices to make the same request and I was transferred from one person to another. At some point was put on hold for more than 10 minutes if not longer. None of the people I spoke to bothered to take my policy number, ID number or even my contact details. I still did not get help.

So since I could not get the help I needed, I decided to cancel the policy. I sent an email on the 5th of May requesting for my policy to be cancelled and for my money to be refunded since it was still in the first month of inception and no claim had been made. Instead I got debited yesterday, on the 9th of May when I clearly indicated that I was not happy with this policy and wanted it cancelled.

I sent an email asking why I was debited after i said i wanted the policy cancelled but this Nkuthalo person rep**** with a message that did not make sense to me as to why my bank account was debited.

Kindly refund me my money. My policy number is ********** 429

Thank you
