Bad Service and no Interest in Cliens

I am writing this today to say that I am very happy to be in the process of my 30 day cancellation period. Affinity Health has not been affordable at all! I visited a doctor on their network and as a result got a bad allergic reaction from medication which she dispensed to me. The pills had no clear description of what they were nor had an expiary date on the packaging or any vital information. I had to use out of network GPs and pay cash. I then contacted Affinity and was berated on the phone by a consultant after explaining my situation she belittled me and my experience and her attitude was very rude as she shouted on the phone. I proceeded to cancel my membership as I feel it has become an necessary cost and if Affinitys first line of customer service can be rude and disregard my claims by not taking me seriously as a client there is no point in being a member. This complaint is only to make others aware that Affinity does not take care of their clients and can be an unnecessary expense. I would also like to point out that Affinity did get back to me about how they can fix my complaint in order to keep me as a client but the damage was already done.

Hello Sarica,

Thank you for reporting your experience on Hello Peter.

We apologize for any inconvenience that you have encountered, this is not the type of service that we strive for at Affinity Health, the consultant that you spoke to will be addressed. However, it is important to note that our network of GP's is comprised of external service providers.

An agent will contact you during the course of this week in order to ascertain exactly what transpired and rectify the problem with the GP.

Once again, we apologize for your poor experience.

Kind Regards,
The Affinity Health Management Team
