Affinity Health's "Exclusions" Are a Farce
Affinity Health say they would rather pay for corneal transplants AFTER my 19-yr old loses his sight than pay towards crosslinking surgery to prevent that or slow down his vision degeneration, as the current surgery is considered "cosmetic" and "elective"....how nice of them to determine that sight is only for cosmetic purposes.
You would have thought he was getting a nose-job at their vapid response!
It was equally nightmarish to get a simple answer from them about which hospital or clinics are in their approved list of Network Service Providers even though their policy documents strictly insist using only those facilities. It took two conversations in their website and a what's app chat to be given a single confirmation that Life hospitals are on their list.
