Affinity health- pure ******! Pure cheats! They'll rip you ungodlessy. Be warned!

Good day dear South Africans no matter how desperate you can be, never join Affinity health. They're good ******. I had just joined them and unfortunately in June I was in an MVA and was rushed to the hospital. They approved R2900 for casualty. I was discharged the same day. Six days later I experienced unbearable pains. I called them and after a long fight they agreed I should go back there but if I were to be seen by a Specialist it will be for my own account.

I asked the agent how as it was still something that was from the accident. I was called to consult with consult with nurse and she told me to go to the hospital which is 110km from my place. On arrival I called them and that was rejected. I had to hire another car home 110km.

A day before yesterday I went to see a GP in Mt Frere and I couldn't sleep due to pains on my lower limbs and left sided chest pain affecting the arm. I called them and they said I should come to the hospital to be admitted. I was driven tonthe hospital and when I called them I was told I should go straight to the hospital and on arrival it was the total opposite. They told me this was a pre-existing condition. How so? I've never have had leg pains before the accident. I called then and they rejected that. They were the ones who had advised I come to hospital with the doctors referral. Another 220km for nothing. This morning I couldn't even jump out of bed. I am in extreme pain. Dr Goqwana advised it was Pulmonary Embolism (emboli) I'm not sure if the I spelled this right. Still Affinity rejected it saying it was a pre-existing condition. How so? These pains and the swelling came after the accident. I called them again and I spoke to Oscar who advised that he will take this with his superiors. I then received communication from Ntokozo who told me if I wanted to appeal I can do so though it will take 14 days to complete. Where would I be by then?

Affinity will rip you off guys and you will die thinking you're covered by the best. They're the WORST! How does an illness after an accident becomes pre-existing?
