Affinity Health is a **** and a **** Health Insurance

To say that Affinity Health is very very poor example of a Health Insurance, is an understatement. My daughter has been with Affinity Health for a year already, and i can prove that around only 10% of her normal GP visit and medication have been covered to date. Every time she needs to see a doctor, Affinity Health find another excuse as to why the medication required is not covered by their Health Insurance. Fortunately, she has not required hospitalization, else we would really be in trouble. Everything they promised would be covered, is not covered by their program, so with all the additional costs i have had to pay, i might as well have taken out a Medical Aid and paid a much higher premium. To make matters even worse, the service from the customer care department is so bad, that i eventually gave up trying to call in, because it is just too frustrating. I decided to terminate the Insurance with Affinity health, and just when you thought it cannot get any worse, they terminated the insurance a week after canceling the program, when a 30 day period is required. In the 30 day notice period my daughter tried to claim for some medication, only to discover that they had closed the account, when it was still supposed to be active. Affinity health are ****, and none of their promises are real. Be careful people, i don't recommend them at all. Ever. Period.
