Affinity Health *****
They stole my personal information through the so called union (NUM) and employer Gold 1 mine. They are making salary deduction of R700 on my salary with my employer without me filling or signing any application form. All was done without my consent. Shame on you Affinity. I want my money back.

02 Dec 2023, 10:52Nothing successful because I didn't get my money back. What I want is my money, I didn't ask for Affinity. What kind of business are you running. I was sold to you by the company I am working for and you agreed to it. I didn't fill an application form with you but you deducted my money. You stole my money under false pretences. You deducted R700 for three consecutive months and the money amounted to R2100. You are making my life difficult because I was forced to pull my child out of creeche due to shortage you made from my salary. I was living on budget on my nett salary, my child is out of creeche because you. You violated my privacy by accepting my identity without my consent. Please I am asking to be reimbursed the amount of R2100 that you stole under false pretences and strike my name out of your database with immidiate effect because there is no formal agreement between me and you .

We can confirm that when an Agent spoke to the Union Representative at Gold One, he was informed that a complaint was lodged by yourself with your HR.
You were advised that the Affinity Health Medical Cover is compulsory for all A and B salary band employees and premiums are being deducted from the R700,00 Medical Contribution all employees previously received from the mine for Medical Contributions along with their salaries.
Prior to the medical cover being put in place, all employees benefited from this contribution as no deductions were made, however, since the Medical Cover has come into effect when the policy incepted, this contribution was removed and paid over to Affinity Health.
Confirmation was received that no deductions were made from the actual salary of the employees but rather the additional contribution which employees were receiving when the Medical Cover was not in effect.
