Affinity Health
I have been with Affinity for almost four years, and I can honestly say their service has been nothing short of disappointing. Despite rarely making use of the policy, every single time I have needed authorization, there has been an issue. There is always an excuse, a delay, or some “story” that makes the process unnecessarily frustrating.
When it comes to medical cover, speed and reliability are critical, yet Affinity consistently fails in this regard. Their lack of urgency and poor service raise serious concerns about what would happen in the event of a true medical emergency. Imagine being in a serious car accident, admitted to the wrong hospital, and then being left with the costs because your medical insurer drags their feet on authorizations—that is a very real risk with them.
After years of this ongoing struggle, I will be cancelling my policy on Monday. Affinity has proven time and again that they cannot be trusted when it matters most. My personal opinion: think twice before signing with them. There are far better, more reliable providers out there
