"Void " warranty excuse

My warranty that supposed to have 2 more years on- is "void" due to something the installer is at fault (and had no idea about) Its so unfair that we have to suffer the consequence when we had especially chose Kwikot, and purchased from Plumblink for the warranty. Very upsetting and *********.
