SHOCKING SERVICE

A geyser burst on Sunday 5 March at our premises, and I called Kwikot to replace same as it was still under guarantee on Monday, 6 March 2017.

Steven, from Kwikot arrived to fix at 11:09am. The workmen spent about an hour removing the old geyser, and replacing it with the new one. Just as they were about to leave, the new geyser FELL OFF the wall, and totally out of its brackets. The workmen then spent a further 4 hours trying to re-bracket the geyser to the wall…they finished at 15:50pm!

Steven said that the geyser would take about an hour to heat up, and that it was working fine! (LOG NO: 55-45553)

That evening, when going into the bathroom, the light for the bathroom and toilet was not working…and when trying to run a bath, there was NO HOT WATER.

On Tuesday morning I logged another call with Kwikot, and reported that we had NO HOT WATER, and that the lights that were working before Steven installed the new geyser, were NOT working now!

I received a sms from Kwikot at 8:44am to say that that Michael would contact me and attend to the issues I had reported!

Michael arrived at our premises at 6:18pm that evening!

I explained the issues and showed him to the bathroom. He walked into the bathroom, looked up, and switched on the “isolation switch” that Steven had “forgotten” to turn on. To say that I was ****ed, is an understatement! We had waited the WHOLE day without hot water, only for him to turn on a friggen switch!

Michael and his colleague thought this was very funny Michael and said that Steven must have been tired, so he forgot to turn the switch on! Ha Ha Ha Ha! The more they laughed and joked, the angrier I became. THIS IS NOT HOW YOU TREAT YOUR CLIENTS!

I asked Michael “What about the light?” He fiddled around a bit, and said that when the geyser fell off the wall bracket it “pulled a lot of wires out”, and that he wasn’t qualified to fix it, and that WE had to get an electrician. I told Michael that Kwikot had better get an electrician because there was NOTHING wrong with the light before Steven came to repair the geyser!

I told Michael that Kwikot had better send someone to fix the light first thing. He said Johan would read his call sheet (33-45800) and respond.

I signed said call sheet where Michael has very causally said “The lights are off client says Kwikot must fix”.

I called Kwikot and told them that they had better come to fix the light in the bathroom that their workmen broke because of their incompetence!

To date...Kwikot has not fixed the light and refuses to acknowldege their mistake!
