SA Home Loan and Kwikot
Marcel from SA Home Loans insurance, who took my call Wednesday morning 04/11/2020 at 08:40 for a burst geyserthat caused my electricity to trip. That geyser was replaced 2 months ago. He indicated that he has sent the request to Kwikot as it was not a claim rather that it was a warranty issue. Someone will contact me. This did not happen. Initially he did not give me a reference and I insisted and I had repeated to him that without any reference I will not have any record of a reference. At 11 am, I had the first contractor at my home who looked at the geyser and indicated that the geyser was still under warranty and Kwikot will have to resolve this matter and not Johnson's Plumbing.
Subsequently, another contractor was sent. ITU Assistance services had sent their people to look at the geyser. When they pitched, they indicated that the warranty expired for the element and they could not assess that the gasket needed replacing. They asked me to call SA Home Loans insurance to point out the challenge and it was 15:22.
Anyway I called Rowen of SA Home Loan Insurance and indicated that no one wants to fix the geyser because of the warranty issue on the element was in question. He then promised me that Nicolette will call me immediately. I waited for more than 10 minutes but no one called.
I called again at 15:34. Ronel promises me that Nicolette will call me. Nobody called and I was most irate. I pay my premiums every month but this service is absolutely unacceptable. I am appalled by the fact that these employees of SA Home Loan Insurance don't have any conscience to serve their clients during their hours of labour. These hours of labour are to be followed rigidly but certain employees are a disgrace to the institution they serve.
My comment on the warranty of the geyser by Kwikot really sucks. How can a company who replaces a burst geyser with a brand new one, and 2 months later has an element problem that is not covered. That **** of the owner must foot that repair bill or pay the excess which is more than the price of an element is unfair and tantamounts to *******. I do think that the behavior of SA Home Loan Insurance employees attending to an essential service such as mine should have expedited me with correct information instead they should be liable for the boo boos made because they referred the matter erroneously to Kwikot. Kwikot indicated that the element's warranty was out of warranty because it was in the brand new geyser for more than 2 months. Furthermore, I will switch my bond to another institution and see where I can move my insurance to.
Both SA Home Loans and Kwikot was complicit in this shady insurance policy. My premiums are supposed to assist me not rob me and categorically I state I was **********!
